Bob just called it a “deceptive 11-pt win” for Miss St. Um, ok.
Only Mooney could eff this up this bad. Glad I wasted no money or time watching or listening to this mess. Loving the Michigan effort against Ohio State thus far. Please keep Mooney away.
Greatest team ever = losing record after seven games. **** off, Mooney.
Accomplishments in this game:
Losing by double digits is a 5 minute overtime. Very hard to do.
0ut rebounded 44 -20. Possibly NCAA record
Grace with a foul for every 30 seconds played. Very efficient.
Mooney choke took 40+ minutes to kill us instead of the usual 35.

Glad that I didn't invest money to watch another sad loss. Seems like the most experienced class in NCAA history should have moved on. So far, they can't beat anybody who is any good.

Missed watching but just going by that stat, must have been another one of them Men vs Mooney's Boys matchup.
It ended up being 9 minutes and 56 seconds before we got our first rebound of the second half.

I am curious to see if the attendance starts dropping off. I make it to nearly every home game and there have been decent crowds all season.

that's my problem, several of you have mentioned over the years you would not show support for the Mooney dictatorship/hostage situation by buying tickets or going to games but when September rolls around no matter how hard I try I just cannot resist them because I do love college basketball so much 😖
I used to REALLY love Spiders basketball but now it's just discouraging and demoralizing
I don’t think a couple hundred season ticket holders not renewing would make anyone stand up and notice. If the decision was primarily about money they wouldve parted ways long ago because we aren’t earning ncaa units and arguably to save money on CM salary.

Its super easy to give up buying season tickets. Did it a few years ago, you can still go occasionally, they discount tickets frequently, drink a few ipas and don’t expect anything.

Don't insult dementia patients by comparing them to Mooney
Chalk this up to "pep talk" and hopefully "encouragement'
Tough to ditch our years long season ticket habit ..and we try to remember the good things -
1) The venue is better than the Arena and easier to get to..
2) We have good friends we usually only see in person at the Robins Center. Most of the fans of the Spiders and the visiting teams - with one exception - are pleasant and nice to talk with.
3) The basketball is similiar to what we saw as students - being close to .500 was an accomplishment.
4) Our expectations are low so disappointment is mimimal. On the occasions we do win we can be surprised and ecstatic.
5) Dick Tarrant was once our coach - a man we admire for many reasons: a Marine, a no nonsense coach who produced, and we enjoyed talking with him when we had the chance.
6) We can dream - all things are possible - and someday it is theoretically possible we will again have a coach like Tarrant. (alright no holding your breath or pollyanna comments on that one, but admit seems pollyannish at this point!)
