Well, we somehow goaded them into missing threes left-and-right while we started hitting ours. Go Spiders!

FINALLY a good half! 7 assists from our C's, hitting some threes, playing solid defense.
Up 35-27 at half. Dlo with 15 points. Graham with a 3.

Gkiller - I went in really small on the ML - so you may want to go back in the other side now haha. Couldn't find the Glou props though.
We're only 5-19 from 3 - encouraging we can have a good half while still not shooting it well from deep.

Other good news, wasn't really feeling the Aztecs chances this season - but they are CRUSHING ranked Creighton as we speak. Both teams down a main scorer, SDSU two homegrown guards leading the way.

By live stats, it looks like we gave up 2 offensive rebounds in last possession by LA tech in last 20 secs (offensive rebounding is not important!) then we fouled & then Mooney got T'd up either after the foul when game was tied or after LA Tech made first FT to go up by 1. Hard to tell by play by play.

Mooney knew this was his chance to drop some F bombs at the refs. Only 11 fans are there to witness it and it’s hidden away on FloSports where only the most degenerate of fans are watching.
bad, bad foul call at 2.4 seconds had Mooney fired up. after LT center missed first of two free throws Mooney was T’d for giving it to the ref. Listened to radio broadcast. Apparently he also tried to follow the refs after handshakes and had to be restrained by Assistants and DLo.

Absurd on Mooney’s part. You can’t get a T down by ONE POINT with the ball and 2 seconds left, I don’t care how terrible the call was (and it sounded questionable). What an idiot.
You play in a D grade MTE, you get the refs who work 10 games a year.
We also benefited from a very bad goaltending call to tie the game with about 2 minutes left. A few other head-scratchers too, all in the second half. More went our way IMO but the call at the end was the most impactful.

Somebody correct me if wrong, but aren't we 1-3 vs D-1 teams and 2-0 vs D-2 teams? If those numbers are correct, then fill in the blanks. I'll start. This is pathetic and a bad reflection on MoonCo. Where are the homers when we need them to defend?
So I didnt watch but brutal once again. Go from 8 up at half to 9 down in 13 minutes of 2nd half. And lose despite a 19-3 run at one point

They’ll spin this and say it was an inept job by the refs. If we were in a decent MTE we wouldn’t have D2 refs in the first place.
Thx for clarification. Who would have thunk prior to the season start & all the complaining about soft OOC schedule. I guess not soft enough.
