Having fun ragging on my CT in-laws while they were watching Uconn lose to Memphis largely due to Ts. How sad and embarrassing to the University to be so unsportsmanlike! Uconn transfer Apostolos Roumoglou cost us our first game this year. Is Uconn a technical foul factory? Let's make a bold statement and say we'll never accept another Uconn player because they're such thugs.

Hurley is a hot head & I’m ambivalent about UConn but that was a soft af call imo. A bad time to take a T but Hurley has a team & program where he can risk that & benefit his team in future where refs may give him calls in other games. Kind of letting folks know what’s up early in season. Some other teams can’t do that bc the individual game is too important.

Honestly, I don't care how soft the foul, it doesn't give you permission to be a complete ass. Would not be worth even a national championship to have a dick like that running our program.

What about back to back nattys? Sorry sign me up.

Hurley looks bad with his mannerisms & pouting for sure but sometimes dicks on the court who get extremely competitive r much different off it. I’d rather u be a dick within the lines. Coach K cussed out refs all the time.

Hurley, I would give my left nut to have someone like Hurley leading our program. Yeah, Hurley acts a fool on the court for sure, but the dude wins and wins big and that is the name of the game.

Curious for the folks who wish they see more fire out of Mooney. What are your thoughts on this technical? I didn’t watch the game because I don’t want to pay for FloSports out of principle but it looks very similar to Hurley’s.

My position is this, while I love the fire out of Mooney and want to see more of that, it has to be controlled. Similar to Glou against Marist, while we likely weren’t going to win the game anyway, the technical hurt us more and pushed the game even further out of reach. I like passion, but not heated to the point where it goes against us in critical moments.

That's what I basically said above. Hurley can get away with it at this stage of season.

From first person accounts it was bad. Mooney was like a caged animal on way out. If we are lucky maybe he attacked a security guard or even better a young ball boy and we can fire him for cause.

Perfect ending. As long as no one was harmed in the process.
