Mancuso

I think Porter Able is going to pull a Curtis Jefferson and option NC A&T to sleep then torch the secondary with deep throws to Brown. We win by two touchdowns .
I wish you could create the timing needed for an option offense in one week.

It would indeed be interesting, and I would love to see it, especially in view of the NCAA rules:
"NCAA
According to NCAA rule book, Rule 1 Section 4 Article 1 recommends numbering as follows for offensive players;
Backs 1–49
Center 50–59
Guard 60–69
Tackle 70–79
End 80–99
Otherwise all players must be numbered 1–99, the NCAA makes no stipulation on defensive players. Two players may also share the same number though they may not play during the same down. The lowest numbers are often considered the most prestigious, and they are frequently worn not just by specialists and quarterbacks but also by running backs, defensive backs, and linebackers. Kickers and punters are frequently numbered in the 40s or 90s, which are the least in-demand numbers on a college roster. The increased flexibility in numbering of NCAA rosters is needed since NCAA rules allow larger rosters than the NFL; thus teams would frequently exhaust the available numbers for a position under the NFL rules. It is not uncommon for NCAA teams to have duplicate numbers, with an offensive player having the same number as a defensive one—this is allowed as long as both players are not on the field at the same time. " Wiki, "Uniform number (American football)"

I note that the article states that the NCAA "recommends" the numbering system. I am not sure what that means in view of the language following in the article which seems to suggest that at least in one case in order to wear a number outside of the system, the team had to lobby the NCAA (The number was "100".). In other cases which did not conform to the numbering system, it appears that the schools did not lobby the NCAA to wear numbers outside the system but under 100.
Apparently, according to the article, the NFL enforces the rule.

Possible preview of what we'll see this weekend? Abell pictured with Brown and Tibbs. (Photot was taken yesterday at practice)

Im a firm believer in this coaching staff, and they'll have a great game plan set up -- even if it means 45 triple optionso like Army, flee-flickers and a fumblerooski.

Hope so. The problem is that this is not a sustainable way to win multiple playoff games.
