There are a lot of people who have heard that Khwan Fore maybe leaving U of R. I hope it is not true or that he reconsiders, although ultimately I want what is best for him.

Khwan has been a joy to watch over the past 3 years. His electrifying dunks have brought the sellout Robin Center crowd to their feet on many occasions. He has been a valuable member of the Spider community and has helped us win many games. With his help next year I think we have a shot at winning the A10. If he doesn't return my biggest regret is that we were not able to show him on senior night how much we all appreciate the 110% effort he brought to every game.

Ditto, Amen!

I understand his decision, although I think it's shortsighted. My hope is that after he tests the waters (hopefully without an agent so it doesn't screw up eligibility), he'll realize that another year of basketball/graduate school here will be the better route.

Agree Billy. Us older folks know it’s not a good choice in the long run, but he is young and maybe tired of school like we all were.

Like and identify with the "older folks" reference - which also leads to the observation that since he doesn't have to be concerned about a military obligation that the military draft raised for many of us he can do whatever he wants. Here's to wanting that to be staying a Spider as his drive, hustle, determination, and attitude are a joy to behold.

If he has earned his degree, then go make $ playing a game. One bad injury and the opportunity to play a game he loves for $ is gone.

What professional league is going to offer Khwan a sizable contract? Getting his masters would be more beneficial in the long run no matter where he attends.

I love Khwan and hope he stays but if he leaves I don't think it's because he wants to go pro straight out of UR

Maybe Khwan wants to go pro and he thinks using his last year of eligibility at UR won't help that? Sounds a lot more believable than going straight from UR.

How about the crazy concept that he wants to be on a winning team and make the dance. And he doesnt see that being likely here.

Hypothetical...he leaves for a tournament run, Bryce comes to UR, we make tourney...think he’s pissed he left even if makes tourney at new school? Kinda had a big part of the last 3 years and I’m sure he loves the guys

Then don't start a thread about it. This thread is just a fluff piece started to send some positive vibes his way. It puts him in the spotlight one way or the other. If you want to give him privacy, don't bring him up. I noticed another fluff piece/comment today about another player there is speculation about. Again, if you want to give them privacy, don't talk about them. Easy enough.

Stonewall didn't start the thread.

I know. It was start by a pro Mooney poster. People are blaming the anti Mooney crowd for driving posters away. Yet, you have the daily fluff pieces. In my opinion, a lot of them are started to troll the anti Mooney side.

Thank you pod, I do feel trolled sometimes but now am focusing all positive energy on landing Bryce and a stud grad transfer guard to help out. I do want the guy from Wagner but he doesn't help this year, though he would make practices more competitive. Let's goooooo!!!!

This thread will have zero bearing on Khwan's decision, as evidenced by the fact that he has already made his decision. Wish him well and move on.

Really, are the positive people not entitled to their opinion?

They are, but then don't complain when someone comes on with a rebuttal. The rebuttal shows up, and people complain. If you don't want something said about a particular player, don't start a thread about them. If you do, you are inviting people's opinion, good or bad.

Stonewall has 3 or 4 handles on this board, so he actually might have.

Yeah, where did that "Ben" guy go anyway? He made a splash for awhile, then hit the road. Now this 80s guy appears...
