Here is a great overview of tomorrow's game. https://www.aseaofblue.com/2020/11/...richmond-game-time-tv-live-online-stream-odds

No line has been set, but ESPN BPI only gives Kentucky a 51.7% chance of winning this matchup. KenPom gives Kentucky a more friendly 76% chance of winning, although Kenpom is not very accurate until we get further in the season. I wonder what these probabilities would be if we still had Sherod? I love the comment that the Spiders will give Kentucky a match up problem, because our team is so tall.

I expect a lot of minutes from our starters.

Am I crazy or was this game supposed to be a noon start? I see it's starting at 1 now.

I am struck by how much turnover there has been on Kentucky`s team this year.

With UK sophomore forward Keion Brooks sidelined by a calf injury, UK began a season without a single player who had ever scored a point in a Kentucky uniform in a real game.

The only time one can be sure that had ever happened before in UK’s regal hoops history was in a 15-6 loss to Georgetown College on Feb. 6, 1903.

10 players got 6 minutes or more for Kentucky vs Morehead.
7 freshmen and 3 transfers...

Kentucy is a very talented team. Calipari has said
"I’ll make another statement to you: If it’s between experience and talent, I’m picking talent every time."
The question remains, can Kentucky's talent come together this early in the season to beat a team as talented and experienced as this year's Spiders?

This Spiders team has been through fire. It has been tested by near a death experience, a broken sternum, lost players, injuries, and double digit losing seasons. Pressure on the court will not faze this team. This team has the strength, character and talent to rise to the occasion.

If Mooney wins this game he deserves to stay no matter what. I honestly believe this game will end in the final couple of minutes. Where true coaching is needed. I never have believed in late game situations with Mooney. Final score Kentucky 84 Richmond 75

Here is an interesting statistic. If we beat Kentucky it will be the 1st in school history that we beat a top 10 team on their home court. Our current all-time record is 0-25.

With that said, I think we have a shot even without Sherod If we do win, it will not be considered a huge upset.

What about Kansas in the Wainwright era?

KU was #10 in the coaches poll but #12 in AP.
Since the average is 11, that is good enough to exclude them from the original point. So, if we beat Kentucky it will be the 1st in school history that we beat a top 10 team on their home court. Our current all-time record is 0-25. Never again 0-25.
