JP Moorman - 2017 Offer

Interview with JP is impressive; confident and focussed, a complete basketball player, a great fit for Chris Mooney. Continue to be impressed with the character and demeanor of the guys we recruit. OSC

Quite an impressive young man. Mature, articulate, intelligent, self-assured. He has a bright future.
We should offer JP a scholarship whether or not he plays basketball.
I would be very proud to say that I am an alumnus of the same school as he.
Same goes for the Walter Whyte, as I said on his thread.

Both are great video posts by the Ulla.

JP is impressive, not only a really good basketball player, but also an honor roll student. The Ulla for one would be happy if he chooses to become a Spider. OSC

11th Graders named to the Honor Roll include:
Jaime Aronson, Avery Blue, Dylan Boles, Bradley Bostian, Spenser Clapp, Lindsey Cooke, Allie DuBose, Ernie Flanagan, Drew Knauss, Ike Mango, Travon Mayo, Maddy McCartney, Nyia McCree, JP Moorman, Caleb Nitka, Nicklaus Phipps, Kristen Rosenbower, Allen Schiffman, Alec Smir, Gloria Smith-Bunch, and Tony Wu.

Just watched this video again of JP from last October; check it out. Would be fantastic if he chooses to become a Spider. OSC

He has FBS visits after UR and that is not good. I do think our closeness to Greensboro is a plus.

I am happy that JP is coming in this weekend. Great talent and great kid. Richmond could be the perfect blend of academics and athletics for him. Personally, I am worried about Pastner and Keatts (UNCW) in the recruiting battles. But let's see what happens. Be a Spider, JP!

JP is visiting Temple this week. Still hoping he chooses Richmond. OSC

wow. pretty incredible. great body control and great college ready size. we already have a very good class, but he'd be the centerpiece.

spiderman, agree whole-heartedly! Good shooter, good handle, good jumper, outstanding passer. Well spoken. Would be a great addition! OSC

I think he's taken 3 of his 5 officials (UR, Temple, UNCW), so it may not be that long unless he plans to wait until the spring

I hate when I can't access a premium content link...

Did he seem excited/indifferent around his Temple visit? I think that he didn't commit right away to them is encouraging, but of course he didn't commit to us right away either.

Temple's a threat. JP likes Dunphy, and he seems very interested in playing with recent Temple commit Pierre-Lewis. But this is written by a Temple guy, so slant is expected.
JP no longer plans on taking 5 visits. going to UNCW this weekend, but no longer going to Cinci 10/14-16 and may not go to Ga Tech 10/21-23.
feels like we're top 2 with Temple.

Great a bridesmaid again!

This could ultimately impact JP's decision. Not sure how many scholarships Temple has left to give this year.
