Adding 2018 Adjusted NET and what that would predict

1/12 GW (away) 265 W
1/16 Duquesne (home) 176 L
1/19 Davidson (away) 80 L
1/23 St. Joe's (away) 98 L
1/26 St. Bona (home) 236 W
1/30 Saint Louis (away) 35 L
2/2 La Salle (home) 333 W
2/6 Mason (home) 202 L
2/9 GW (home) 310 W
2/13 VCU (away) 32 L
2/20 Fordham (home) 216 W

2/27 Mason (away) 157 L
3/2 VCU (home) 77 L
3/6 UMass (away) 137 L
3/9 Davidson (home) 125 L
6 favored 1 narrowly, 1 other smallunderdog.

La Salle, GW, and St. Bonnie are pretty much train wrecks this year. That is 4-5 wins right there. I'm sure we will grab another couple of wins. Think we win about 7.

I'm coming up with 8-10 with a good chance to end the year on a 4 game losing streak. We shall see.

Conference is bad this year - Mooney always finds a way to muster at least 8 wins, ,and I think if Wojik can get hot a few games and Cayo plays well - and of course, we must avoid the injury bug the rest of the way - 9 wins is where we fall.

Id say 8-10 around .500 only because there are so many terrible teams in the A10. CAA is a better leaGue this year.

We'll lose to a team like GW Bona or LaSalle, but beat a team like St. Joe's or Davidson. The rest should shake out, except we'll get swept by Mason and Duq beats us. 6 wins tops.

CAA is real bad this year. Not even top 15.

Agreed. NET has us right smack in the middle of that 10-team league; I think we're better than that.
Only Charleston, Northeastern and Hofstra ahead of us IMO - that's still disappointing.

The A-10 is the 13th rated conference in the RPI, the CAA is the 18th. So, yes the A-10 is better but a few years ago the A-10 was in the Top 7 of conferences, occassionally ahead of a BCS conference. The MAC, Ivy, and West Coast conference are all rated more highly than the A-10 this year.

Not hard to get that 4-7 one right going into the conference season this year.

Well had we not crapped the bed against a horrible UMass team, I would have been dead on. We can still meet my prediction if we beat Davidson on Saturday night. I won't hold my breath.
