Well, for weeks and months i've been saying 'stay healthy' and 'get our check', as it relates to this one. I'm having a late change of heart.

We have an incredibly talented team. By my count, we have at least 7 players that could start for UVA tomorrow:

Lauletta, Brown, Evans, Light, Craig, Howard, Jones.

I don't include Vergos on that list only because he's on the smaller side for a center but he might be there too.

There are a couple others that probably aren't far off either: Hudson, Clyde, Jordan.

Take care of the ball and keep from having multiple special teams disasters and the Bowties are going to be getting tight around their necks by the middle of the 4th quarter. LET'S GOOO!!!

Would love to see us go in there and win it. Maine gave Uconn all they could handle, and App State was up on Tennessee late, and as you mention with our talent - I think we can pull it off.

That said, I hate these games. Seems a couple years ago we played NC State close but some key injuries decimated our season hopes. My first and second thoughts for this game are "Lets stay healthy!"

My brother went to William and Mary. He claims they did a study and more players were injured in VMI games than any other team. I believe the risk of injury will be just as great when we play Norfolk State as when we play UVA. The money and the attention will be a lot greater though, particularly if we win tomorrow.

My business partner of 38 years and I buy 6 UR and 6 UVA tickets with required donation annually. I refuse to go when these teams compete at the Hook. I abhor the ride home when we lose.........I am going tomorrow.
