How do you not intentionally foul as soon as he stepped inside the 3 line when up 3?

When it looked like we were in the drivers seat for a win a half hour ago I was about to post that hey maybe we should forget about VCU and GW can be our new rival at least we can beat these guys. So much for that idea.
