I'm going to be putting up an article on Gilyard later tonight. Have heard nothing but very positive things about his game. One person who has seen many recruits come through the Robins Center commented that most kids come in, play pickup with the team and almost try too hard to show off their skills. This person used the word, "magical" to describe the way he used his motion to get TJ open and commented on how Gilyard was such a smooth, natural PG.
One thing to keep in mind that is important with Gilyard...he has played with highly rated players, including guys that are currently on the roster at UNC and Nebraska. He has been on teams where he was expected to make others better and has done so.
