Wow, that is an awesome story. Tremendous family and some great insight into his recruitment, and how much effort went into landing Jacob. In addition to the great human element part to the story, a really good look into recruiting and poaching - did not go into the specifics but the power conferences were coming after him. Hopefully we can keep capitalizing on a very solid recruiting run we are on.

Great article and some interesting Gilyard back stories. This quote by Mrs. Gilyard also struck me.

"We feel almost entitled to the good things we get because of our own hard work — I deserve this — but the truth is some people work harder than any of us and never get what they deserve. "

Makes you think because it's true and many of us I'm sure have been guilty of that before, I have. We've known for a while what we have in Gilly but sounds like he has a great family too.
