Get Mooney a contract exten$ion!

Haha. Hey at minimum it was nice to see the 3-2 zone. That really shut them down. Great to mix it up, seems like he's reading the board! Great job posters!!

Observation: Must be something about having the name Trey Davis that inspires the ugliest possible shots ever seen on a basketball court. Their Davis looks like he was taught how to shoot by blind nuns in the dark. And somehow he's one of the leading scorers in the league?? How on earth is that possible.

Yeah well their Davis shoots 85% free throws so I would love to trade Davis for Davis

sdj talked about switching between a man ans a zone tonight in his post game comments. Said he felt the staff did a good job of calling for the switch

Just making the other team prepare for a different D from the Spiders is an advantage for UR. And it did work to our advantage tonight. I agree it's a little late, but it does show CM is making some adjuatments. Said it in another thread, but also he is playing JJ now significant minuets. Mooney is making some adjustments which is refreshing.

There was about a nine minute stretch at the end of the first half where we were in the 3-2 zone and UMass could not score. Good job.

My only complaint was not getting TA the ball the last three minutes to continue his double digit scoring streak. I suspect TA would much rather have a win though.

TA had his chances, many missed free throws and SDJ fed him the ball down low with a minute left and TA missed a layup. He did have 16 rebounds.

This might suggest that the players have gotten tired of getting toasted on D and are glad to try something else finally.

Woohoo

You got that right, Mo! Uh, Khwan is pretty amazing. BTW, we have Coach Lewis to thank for Mr. Fore. OSC

Great job managing end of game and great job landing a diamond in the rough like Khwan.

Pay the man.
Mooney forced Fordham to turn the ball over with horrifically bad passes? Really?????? Boy, he is some coach.
I thought he won the game with his patented offense to defense switching in the first five minutes of the game. I think I finally figured out why these guys are so tired at the end of the game.

Nothing like taking out 3 A10 bottom teams to get the pro-optimists ti chime in with extension talk. I'll extand him if we can lower the per year pay and cut down the buyout.
