Two questions. One simple and one more complicated:

1- Given the proximity and the Princeton connection between JT3 and Mooney, why the hell can't we get on their schedule?

2- Georgetown basically plays the same systems we do. They play them with kids that we couldn't dream of getting through our admissions office. Should the fact that these systems yield general underachievement and early NCAA departures for the Hoyas each year give us pause about our systems?

Not trying to get into a back and forth on trashing Mooney on scheduling or systems. Just things I've wondered about.

Well, when I made this post, the Hoyas were down by 7. They're now up 23 and probably headed to the Final 4. But still...

1) CM doesn't appear to be the schmoozing type with other coaches. 2) Yes, it would make me think about it. Utah will end their season.

Mo, I've wondered that, too. You'd think we could at least get a game in their place. Don't think they play GW either. That could be another great inner city rivalry in the M-A.

in the 80s, the hoyas high water mark, thompson, sr. stated that he would never play a game in richmond. guess a civil war deal, not sure. have no idea if the same feeling prevails with jr. and know that they have played in richmond before.

I could see Thompson Sr. Saying something like that. He and Temple's Chaney used to say stuff like that every now and then. Hopefully every one is mellowing a little.

For some reason I thought I read somewhere that CM and JT3 were pretty good friends and did not want to face each other in a game.. But that could be a completely false memory, lol.
