This had to be one of the more confusing endings I have ever seen. Except maybe that Charlotte fiasco.
We lost it at the line. Can’t blame the refs, they were pretty terrible both ways.George Mason did not win this game. The refs protected Oduro and won the game for them. No travel call on an absurd travel that would have ended the game.
No clue. Poor execution again down the stretch bites SpidersWhy wait 10 seconds to foul after they broke the press?
I would be honest and say that we did not deserve to win. The travel was obvious. Were you watching?Hey Dr, how would you feel about that last call if it happened in Richmond?
Yes thought Burton would go to the line. But if anyone can read the refs minds not sure they would find anything. Why did they let us inbound the ball at the end? Mason had more than 10 fouls, right? The guy who committed the foul did not have the ball. What am I missing?
No I made it all up😎I would be honest and say that we did not deserve to win. The travel was obvious. Were you watching?
It was wrapped last game too.Horrible shooting night from Gilyard. Anybody know why his hand was wrapped?
Burton should play less minutes if he refuses to play defense. Even more infuriating when he continues to settle for poor shots.
Yes he had 10 Moses Malone rebounds on two possessions. Two inches from the rim and shoots it one inch.I have never seen a center miss as many layups as odoru has tonight.
I agree and can't recall a more poorly officiated game for both teams! Maybe a few isolated plays and I'm overstating but just looked real poor to me?We lost it at the line. Can’t blame the refs, they were pretty terrible both ways.
I haven’t seen a 3 second rule called this year in any game on tv or in person.Wondered early on, particularly in first half, why Oduro could camp in the lane to keep getting his own missed shots? Guess the 3 second rule no longer applies. One time he was in there for over 8 seconds.
Totally agree it was a terrible call. But blaming refs get you no where. There were ahundreds of things that could’ve gone differently in the game that make Richmond win the game (free throws, a 3 goes in, a rebound, a defensive stop, etc). Focusing on 1 that went GMU’s way is a fool’s errand, and not what winning teams do.I would be honest and say that we did not deserve to win. The travel was obvious. Were you watching?
We sure have no one to stop him.Yes he had 10 Moses Malone rebounds on two possessions. Two inches from the rim and shoots it one inch.
Agree, I think maybe a 2 to 3 year stop and he will be moving on. Love his energy, was more composed tonight too.Kim English is impressive.
1984 I believe on Ralph Sampson. When was the last time palming was called in college basketball?
The ball is palmed or carried on every possession.Every guard does it.
I haven’t seen a 3 second rule called this year in any game on tv or in person.
Kim English is impressive.
In fairness the 3 seconds resets after every shotI haven’t seen a 3 second rule called this year in any game on tv or in person.
Agree, foul on the inbounds or before. Why did they let us inbound the ball at the end? Mason had more than 10 fouls, right? The guy who committed the foul did not have the ball. What am I missing?
Not surprised we were gassed, it’s not like we have a 20-man roster to use.would rather have the guy on his climb up than the guy on his way down.
those refs were a joke … for both teams. We puckered up at the end. Guys we’re gassed, made some predictably bad plays b/c we do that a lot at the end of games.
“I need to get better at giving the bench guys more time, that’s my fault” :The holy oneNot surprised we were gassed, it’s not like we have a 20-man roster to use.
oh wait.
