I went to the game tonight and as you all probably know Mason won 71-66, on the Terps home court
It was no fluke, Mason has 3 older players from the transfer portal and are well coached by their new coach,
Kim English. Their swarming defense and relentless efforts at the boards just showed me how bad
our D was against Utah State.
Don’t be shocked when Mason kicks our butts.

Great win for Mason but don’t sell us short. We will find our stride, it’s all about the matchups and timing. Wait and see.

No game this season will be easy. Every team will be experienced and talented. I expect a lot of upsets this year. The good news is our guys will study the film on Maryland.

Maryland has been unimpressive in every game this year. They're not that good. At the same time, Mason is looking pretty good. Let them be yet another example to anyone who says you can't bring in a new coach and completely remake a roster and still be very competitive immediately. The Maryland game is one that we need to have and should have if we play the way we did against Georgia State.

Shocking. I would think when your key offseason addition is a shoot first/second/third PG that shoots high difficulty/low percentage shots you would be very good and deserving of your top 20 pre season ranking???

The culture change that English brought to Mason has been immense. Mason is legit good. Hopefully, Hardt is following them a bit given his previous Bucknell head coach was the guy holding them back to being a mediocre program. Mason is gonna make some noise in the A-10 this year.
