Forecast for Oral Roberts

We hopefully should win this by double digits and get our record up to 5 and 5. For the 1st time in many years I am exited to see the players off the bench come in. In previous years it was a disaster when our starting 5 were not on the floor together. 9 games in and I enjoy seeing:

Andre, he very coordinated, smart, great passer, excellent at driving to the basket. I personally think he should be starting.

Sal, 6-9 with great skills. Some day he will dominate and until then he is fun to watch.

Matt Grace, the dude holds his own. In previous years when CJ or Grant left the game, the other team would gain 2 to 4 points a minute they were on the bench. That is not happening any more.

Noah, tough kid, solid, recently been shooting well

Great opportunity for all of these guys to get a lot of playing time along with a few others. If we go 9 deep in the A10 we should do fairly well.

I like all these young men. It's too bad they're going to be stuck on the bench behind #bestclassever through 2021.

Interesting that while Coppin ST lost in OT to JMU. Oral Roberts’ only D1 win is JMU in OT.

this might be the first time ever that two 300+ RPI teams have met at the Robins Center the Golden Eagles come in at a dangerous 325 and the Spiders have fallen to 301 despite their wins over Wake and Coppin State.

I rarely look at the RPI this early and wow at UR being 301. Shouldn't add up to a 11 point fav but by most rating sites it's warranted. Nothing Mooney does from this point on will impress me (except an NCAA bid) but team will show me continuing progress if a 15+ point win. ODU will be the real test.
