Fordham in game

Thankfully Fordham is not very good. It’s with their help UR won this game. A win is a win. So the bubble still has air.

Lots to work on but the win keeps the season alive. Nice games from Jacob, Blake and Tyler. Need to not have the two most experienced players on the team disappear in these games though.

There seems little doubt that Burton needs to be seeing 20-25 minutes AT LEAST in every game from here on out. The increased minutes should come mostly from Sherod, but can sorta go with the hot hand theory but the plan has to be to find Burton minutes. Period.

And I REALLY don’t want to have any games were CM is saying after the game “yeah I need to be playing him more” after playing him for 8 minutes.

I’d also strongly consider going small at times when Grant is going to be out with Cato/Burton at 4/5 and Gus in for Sherod. and really see if we can’t pressure a lot with that group. I think that group could be a great change up group and change tempo etcc

Burton has to play more. He’s dynamic in both sides of the floor. We play better with him in the game, big energy guy. Nicks minutes should be cut

Agree with this, but I don't think we are built to play that style for 40 minutes a game. Really love it to change the pace of the game.

That was among the worst 10 minutes of basketball I've seen us play in a really long time. It was a dreadful first half, glad to see the guys somewhat get it together in the second half.

While I don't think we should be ecstatic about the effort, good teams don't fall apart and lose to bad teams, so at least we managed to maintain that theory.
