Mens: Richmond @ Bucknell Sat 11/16 noon ESPN+

So here are my observations:
1. DLo and Neskovic seem to be the only two guys who want to and can score
2. Tyne seems like he wants to score but often can’t
3. Beagle has small hands, dude cannot hold onto the ball. Only credited with 1TO but boy did he make a mess of possessions throughout the game. But he can score I guess.
4. Plenty of open looks to hit 3s, just really subpar. Still can’t tell how we can be this bad with a bunch of supposed shooters.
5. Too many bad shots being taken: long deep midranges or fadeaways or spinning hook shots.
6. The moment we start playing help defense, things derail pretty quickly.
7. I thought Soulis looked ok.
8. Tanner has got to assert himself, otherwise Glou does. Otherwise burn the redshirts. We’re getting nothing from the SF position so far.
9. Tyne is very good on the ball, has to figure out how to turn his handle into buckets.
10. B Artis injury showed no other G really behind him, kind of concerning.

I could probably add another 5 but I’m trying not to pile on. I don’t dislike our guys but they really seem to be playing well below what they’re capable of.

Unfortunately, some of the pick-ups we got haven’t shown a thing. Mooney’s luck with portal players may
have come to a end Shaka has Marquette doing really well with players that he has time to develop. Our
players are thrown into the fire right from the get go
This team has no chemistry, no cohesion, just a mess out there on the court.

Maybe this Bucknell game was more of a recruiting trip for Gipe to get a closer look at potential transfers - such as their 7 foot center Williamson who might be able to produce similar to Quinn at UR.
