Fleming joins KA in Brooklyn

Just saw this tweeted out by WOJ. Great to see this. Really hope that they have success in Brooklyn. I really think this can help raise the profile/brand of the Spiders just a bit in NYC if they can get the ball rolling with the Nets. If I am Mooney, Jones, Lewis, etc. and recruiting in NY/NJ I mention the connection constantly.

Fleming was as good a shooter as I can remember in a Spider uniform

I see the sarcasm spiderman, but I have looked up and watched some video of Fleming's coaching and offensive philosophies. Yes, like Kenny he is a product of Euro hoops, but I think he will bring his own thinking to the team. I just hope that the GM and owner can give these guys some talent to work with.

Atkinson and Fleming both made 8 3's in a game so they are tied with Brothers and Baker for most 3's in a game by a Spider. Fleming was also the main reason we beat Virginia in 1991 because of 3 point shooting. Don't remember how many he had in that game?
