I was pleased to see us at least try something different. But yes, weird that it was Dji rather than Bigs. Maybe next game it will be both Dji and Bigs, but I'd be concerned that some kind of apocalypse might shortly follow.
Easier to bench Nelson cause he is a freshman. Grace is a senior and Mooney doesn't bench seniors. Period end of story.

Yes, the activity has slowly died off since the Final 4/ Sweet 16 #RVA season, as the programs headed in different directions.
District Baller quit coming here. Some of the other VCU folks come in here kind of chesty, but they realize that we’re eating our own right now over Mooney and are just content on watching the whole thing burn.
When you see a circular firing squad happening best not to insert yourself within it.

Maybe we pull a UVA / hardt retire …. Mooney go to AD …. Hire a few mediocre coaches that get fired .: and in 15 years Gilly Gilly Gilly after his stellar nba career saves my 65 year old soul and leads us to the sweet 16 again …

I agree but Losing Lew may have been a better coach. Close but Mooney has nicer facilities more NCAA opportunities.

Why? We can be concerned for his health and desire a permanent replacement concurrently.
It should certainly be paused for quite a while.
