Fire Hardt

Once the rank-and-file fan gives the ticket office and the Spider Club leadership an earful about the AD's (in)actions over the past couple of weeks, they'll realize that they made a huge....wait, what am I saying? They won't bat an eye. They can't, because the whole department has their heads in the sand.

Why should anyone in the ticket office or Spider Club get an earful? They don't deserve that. If you are upset with the AD, focus on that. Why yell at people who have no control over this? There could be 21 or 22 year olds or even 60 something year olds working in the ticket office. Do you see nothing wrong with giving these people an earful over this?
 
VT, I agree that the rank and file workers don't deserve this. Maybe they should have Mooney and Hardt work the phones for a 1/2 day?

I think this is a good idea. Or have a round table discussion and let Richmond alumni and fans meet with Hardt to discuss the direction of the basketball program. I know when I was in school Tarrant did a weekly radio program and took all comers. He didn't freaking hide behind Ivan calls like Moaney.

Right, and why complain to the Comcast rep when they're five hours late to install your cable -- you should complain to the president of the company! Why complain to the waiter when your food sucks -- complain to the CEO of the restaurant chain! Why complain to the IRS official when you don't get your refund on time -- complain directly to President Trump instead!

I don't complain often at all. Just pointing out the absurdity of you imploring people to take their concerns to the top, as if that's always really an option. Or does Hardt answer his own phone all the time?

Also remember Hardt already threw poor Tara Stewart admin assistant out there with the emails. Hey Tara word of advice please don't stand near your boss around moving trains or buses.

The only thing that he's consistently complained about is Mooney's coaching shortcomings and the administration's refusal to do anything about it. You seem to complain about anyone who disagrees with your seem to know it all opinions.
 
You can certainly give input and feedback to any EMPLOYEE at any time within the Sports group at UR. And yes, should be done with respect. But anyone who's ever worked in customer service knows that once in a while they just have to let a customer vent and then let them know you hear them and appreciate their input. If they can't handle this, should probably find a new role.
