I had to look up busking, and yes I could see that definitely. That's where old Peppas go to die.
I am going to Brooklyn and taking my 24 and 20 year old sons. I will support my favorite team. Whether we are one and done, win one or two, or surprise, I am going to enjoy the festivities and watch competitive basketball. Last year's tournament was terrific.....every single game but one that I saw went down to the wire.
We have some excellent players, some average ones and a couple that have a way to go. In my opinion, our season so far is very understandable considering the loss of Ododa and Jones......with more depth we would have been able to play stronger defense and disqualifications would not have been as much of a concern. You might argue that the coach is responsible for a lack of depth, but these two departures were complete surprises. Ododa's roommate was absolutely surprised about the departure.
If we are still playing a 7 man rotation next year, I will join the group that is concerned about the longer term.

Appreciate your support of our Spiders, Law. I've been up there the last 3 years and just can't do it again. Maybe I was just a bad omen for us the last few years. Root hard.

We'll also be in Brooklyn to support this team. Not the year we hoped for but genuine Spider fans cheer for the team in both the good and disappointing seasons. Negative posters on this board should make politics their sport where criticisms, cheap shots and harsh words without loyalty are the norm. In the meantime....GO SPIDERS!
Well, we know the president's contract is up 1/20/17 and won't be extended.
I think we all cheer hard for the Spiders. There are a few inappropriate comments here and there on this board, but IMO most of the "negative" posts are the result of frustration that we are spending so much money on a program that is producing so few results year after year, that's all. I know you're a great Spider supporter, and I thank you for that. We all express our fandom in different ways.
Well said and enjoyed meeting LknSpider for first time at GW football game and he is truly a big Spider fan.
I wonder how much UR would be fined by the conference if the team does not show for the tournament ?
