I will get it started. I think we lose this one. Davidson comes out with crazy energy, crowd into it. They take a 24-10 lead at 12 minute mark. CM never calls a time out. We get our groove tho and after a Wood 3 we are down 4 with 2 minutes left, but Davidson hits 6 straight fts and we lose 76-71.

I think that while we have better attention to Aldridge, Gibbs goes crazy and scores 30+. We make 8 threes but lose by 5.
Cold shooting night. We get behind big early as Gibbs goes off in the first half. We comeback a little in the 2nd half, but its a 20 point loss after some late free throws and garbage time.
Agreed, our defense can only do one thing really well per game. We took Gibbs away last game and Aldridge went off, so we are going to talk Aldridge away this game and Gibbs will go off.
Think it will be close, probably lose by 6. Hope I'm wrong.
Spider Win......Davidson has been erratic....Gibbs has had two bad games vs. Richmond. He is a showboat....no Stephen Curry! Crowd did not show up for Davidson last Saturday....no students and their infamous "D" Block behind the opponent was absent....they di not impress against LaSalle and let the Mason game get away! Spiders are only two point dogs which means take out the home court advantage...and we are the better team. By the way, McKillop home court is one of the most lopsided advantages in the A10......high school gym with roll away bleachers and then little stubby balconies like ole time high school right behind each basket. Spiders owe the Wildcats a home court loss!
The run continues, Spiders win by double digits. Our zone d is very effective in this game and shots fall. 73-61.
I also predict - we play less than 1 minute of 3-2 zone. We will stick to our bread and butter defense. Whether its working or not.
Aldridge is a sophomore, and was on the all-rookie team last year. He is a good player but had a career night against us in the Robins Center. However, the main reason we lost that game was not his play, but us going 0-15 from 3, which is just absurd. Even going 3-15, which would have been enough for the win, would have been a very bad shooting night for our team.
Richmond notches their 14th all time win against Davidson
This is in addition to the previous 8 3's he has made during the game setting the all time Richmond record at 9 3's and after the game he is quoted as saying, "thanks to Coach Mooney for giving me the opportunity to play."
Spiders need to come out hot, we are due for a good offensive game. I think we have put more emphasis though on our D and grinding out relatively low scoring wins. Don't think we get the win but if it happens MW goes 7-8 from three night and we see the return of a big game from Allen
