Any number of Spiders look a lot more aggressive offensively tonight. Good to see everyone trying to share the load stepping up in Blake’s absence.

When we shoot well, we are a good team ... dangerous. We're are even good when we shoot reasonably well. We can pull away from our opponent much better than in the past few years, IMO.
Yes, the Spiders have a black hole energy level. Totally unenjoyable game to watch.
In some way that seems different this year.
Since the first two OT games, we seem to either really win, or really lose, except ODU.
A-10 refs love calling touch fouls. Some of those in the last two minutes were ridiculous.
Despite how unhappy some seem and how some seem to be downplaying Davidson's ability, that's a nice win. It was unbeaten at home before tonight. All without our high scorer, and second-best 3-point shooter.
We have already matched last year's win total. Like it or not, that is progress and improvement.
Certainly everyone is entitled to their opinion, but there are times I seriously wonder what it will take to make some posters on this board happy, when adjectives like "pathetic," "choke", "poor coaching," etc., dominate the narrative even after nice victories.

Probably not but definitely not needed tonight. Plus his intangibles not as important as his stat line. Do you realize the Spiders shot 9-22 with 3PTA tonight.
Know that against St Louis the Spiders had 21 attempts (Blake 8) making 4
Against Rhody 19 attempts (Blake 7) making 8
Against Joe's 25 attempts (Blake 6) making 8
Against Bama 24 attempts (Blake 8) making 8
Against Radford 24 attempts (Blake 9) making 7
I could go on but let's stop there. So you can either say Mooney or more likely just natural course of action had others pick up the slack in getting those 3PTA. Just looking 9 made 3s tonight, more than any of the game totals shown above. Though I would say UR 3PT% likely will go down without Blake.
Free throw shooting by Spiders money in the bank. And agree some of the touch fouls in the end were unnecessary calls. Gilyard is spinning out of the way and Davidson player runs into him to get to the free throw line.
As predicted, Davidson is garbage. Glad we didn't completely blow it at the end. On to GooMoo.
Some unnecessarily nervous moments down the stretch, but always good to get any conference road win. Congrats to the guys. Great bounce back game for Gilyard and lots of contributions from others.
Gilly and Grant (the G team as BB called them tonight) need to score much more consistently if we are going anywhere this season

K, come on. Not only GG but I guess Cayo also? Brajkovic must feel bad he let his little teammate get so many rebounds while he did nothing. And 13 were defensive boards so at worst 3 over him. Did you know JAxel has been his team's top rebounder this season? Same for 2018-19.
It could be the system McK has set up to allow JAxel to get all those boards. Davidson ranks #45 in defensive rebounding this year. Last year #35 and JAxel's frosh year #18. Remarkable. Don't we wish Mooney's team could get below 200. Well maybe the other 4 players are taught priority #1 box your man out #2 go for the board. J Axel playing the point man knows that his man won't even attempt to get the board. So more or less he has a clear path to get that defensive board. Food for thought.
K, I do agree GG should have dominated inside on offense. That was my whole couch-coach strategy for the game. Lol. After tonight I might start feeling more confident Cayo will get that bucket inside. A good GG is so needed for the Spiders to get anywhere this season.
