We had some really good players in his tenure and he was unable to coach them into the NCAA tournament. Any explanation for this consistency?

And in the good year (after cutting down the nets) - got crushed in the last regular season game, got bounced from the a10 tournament in our first game as the 1 seed, and a 16 point loss in the NIT

No, that’s not correct.

2022-2023 - 15-18 losing season
2023-2024 - 23-10 conference season champs
2024-2025 - 10-18 losing season

You are going back three years, not two.
