ESPN ranked the top 25 coaching hires of last 25 years. Was surprised the JB to WVU wasn’t on there. WVU was terrible before he arrived and he got them to elite 8 with Pittsnogle.

Gasaway notes in the intro that only active NCAA coaches were considered, ruling out JB, Brad Stevens and Billy Donovan, for example. I hate seeing Shaka on the list, but I can't really argue against his inclusion.

Gasaway was the who was consistently way off & had lot of mistakes with our bubble breakdowns on espn this year.

List is ridiculous. No mention of Randy Bennett of SMC, Brian Dutcher of SDSU, the Utah State dude. As usual, tilted toward P5 schools.

Anyone who could have a losing record at UNC is NOT the top hire of the last 25 years. Not even close.

On the other hand, he has won three National Championships, lost in the final in another, won 8 ACC Championships, and been National Coach of the Year. He belongs.
