Temple took two shots in 9 minutes to end the half. They turned it over 14 times. Yet they are only down 6. They have to be thrilled to still be in it!

We shot 37% and 27% from three, got outrebounded by almost 50%. Yet we are UP 6. We have to be thrilled to be in this spot.

Also not sure the D either way is all that great. This is just two offensively challenged teams putting on a display of some bad basketball.

I’m not too worried about the rebound numbers. Like you said, they took 2 shots in 9 minutes. Hard for us to get boards when we had 2 defensive rebound opportunities in 9 minutes.

Mooney’s greatest mistake has always been trust in players who have not earned it on the floor. Good to see Dji and Randolph getting time, Walz even got more than 1 minute. I’d like to see more of that in the second half, and for goodness sake, keep feeding Roche, he needs more reps before we head into A10 play

some random observations.

Quinn needs to spend an off season in the NAncy Lieberman/TJ Cline big man school.

Nelson needs to keep running the offense and not dribble. Once he starts that, the whole offense stops.

When Randolph subs in for Quinn and we go small with Goose, Bigelow, Burton, Nelson/DJII and Randolph, we can really defend a lot better than any other lineup.

Randolph generically needs to play more.

Our late game prevent offense is always frustrating!

We need today's Goose and Syr/Wich St Bigelow every night.

I’d love to see his 3 ball % from the corner. He hits that well. Obviously means he’s bad from elsewhere. Still think he can give us some O not expecting tonight output regularly tho. Keep attacking the rim.

Continue to like our small ball lineup for periods when we go without center. Increase it a bit but also look fwd to Grace being back tho.
