Uh oh. My friends saw that the Billboard was up again, during the game. Cowards. How can we stop this. Someone tell me this is a lie. Someone take away this little puke's daddy credit card. Hardt is going to dig in, that is for sure.
Why the hell would VCU fans want us to fire Mooney?
Trust me, no VCU fan wants Mooney to go anywhere. Not only has he destroyed what used to be a great program, which just happens to be our biggest rival, but when most of us feel a little down, we come here for some comic relief. And the whole billboard situation has provided us plenty.

I don't get it, if you are a long term fan you've seen what our program can be, but seem to be ok with the status quo? The billboard wouldn't be my choice, but what else do frustrated fans have to bring this out into the open. John O. says the Spider fans he talks with are ok with the current situation (they may not like losing but think Mooney should stay, where is the logic in that)???? Who are you folks talking to?OK, I just got another text that the billboard ran again. I wonder if the owners of this business are VCU fans? I wouldn't doubt if for a New York second. Lame.
Chuck Boone was who said it in public, many years ago.... but it was a different world and different time.I-M. I am not sure. Someone on this nation.com did say Richmond has never fired a coach before his or her contract is over, so I guess I am just protecting one of our own.
Now if Mooney did step down for some reason, I think we could be much more if Hardt makes a good hire. I fear VCU.
If the FMM really wanted to make an impact they would make a couple 1000 “Xtend Mooney” or “Keep Chris Mooney” t-shirts in black and gold colors and hand them out to the VCU fans as they walk in.
I don't think any involved a buy out. if I remember correctly Wainwright's was a mess and ended up in court. Was it he quit because the university didn't deliver on loosening the admissions, DePaul picked him up, so the who owes what to who was a mess... correct me if my recollection is bad.We have had several coaches in recent years, who while not technically "fired", were told it was time to move on. Carl Sloane, Bill Dooley, Jerry Wainwright fill that bill.
This is what Jim Miller was yukking it up about a couple months back. "We renegotiated his buyout just to get rid of him." Hardy har har. Thanks for the drought.I don't think any involved a buy out. if I remember correctly Wainwright's was a mess and ended up in court. I do believe if he hung around long enough, JW would of been fired. Didn’t we lower the buyout to get rid of him?We have had several coaches in recent years, who while not technically "fired", were told it was time to move on. Carl Sloane, Bill Dooley, Jerry Wainwright fill that bill.
I understood Miller's comments as "We didn't make DePaul pay the whole buyout. We covered a portion."I do believe if he hung around long enough, JW would of been fired. Didn’t we lower the buyout to get rid of him?
