BEAT PROVIDENCE

You’ve been quiet lately. Good to see you post.
Yeah, I gave my wife the OK to schedule a family trip over the beginning rounds of March Madness because a month ago I had no reason to believe that it would be a problem

Wasn't able to watch the Iowa game live but I did catch the replay that night and I have made arrangements to watch the game tonight! Despite their Big East record (which it can be argued was a result of a weak BE schedule) feeling oddly confident that they are a good matchup for us.

Come on, man. You didn’t even watch the game live??? You’re way too big of a fan to be skipping out on these games — glad you fixed that today. :)

If I had bailed on the wife and kids to watch that game it would have freed me up tremendously to attend future Spiders games 😂

Assuming Gilly and Burton play up to par the winner of the Golden/Watson battle teams will win the game. LFG!

It's a game changer. He's not playing scared. Now if his FTs can get worked out he'd be the total package.
Cayo is never scared. For him it is the fine line between "aggressive" and "forcing it."

Which, of course, is not unique to him.

My unofficial rule of thumb for Cayo-watching is if he has to switch directions more than 2 times in his "backing his man down" procedure and then shoots and misses, he's forcing it. It's science.

For superstition sake, I think you should take one for the team and sit this one out as well, lol.

My only trouble w Cayo is that isnt composed sometimes when he takes shots near the basket. Its like he is looking for a tougher shot than it is and he misses some easy ones.

Once again the talking heads give us no chance.

I’d love to ask those guys if they can name 3 of our players without looking at the roster. I bet they had no idea who Gilyard, Golden, Burton were 10 days ago

The talking heads are super-annoying. They may as well tell the Providence players to drop their drawers so that the announcers can kiss their butts. Oh, wait! With 15:21 left in the first half, one of the announcers complimented how we ran our offense.

Of course, when we are playing a team where the first seven can shoot the lights out, I should be ready to get teed off. Go Spiders!

They can cool it with the “Burton chose Richmond over providence just because he could play right away” too. Like no one in their right mind would ever choose Richmond over Providence. So disrespectful
