I would agree with this. I don’t necessarily want it but I’d agree.
We need to win minimum 19 games to make NIT? I’m struggling to see how we do that against A) toughest schedule ever, B) A10 improving at same rate as us and C) no evidence our defense will be vastly improved.

Clearly not every team in the A10 will stay at the same improvement pace. But just doing a quick look, 7 of the conference's 14 teams have transfers available to play in 2019-20. Multiple teams had players who were injured for portions of the season who will also be back. So no, not all 13 other teams have the same conditions that we do, but broadly, we are not going to be light years ahead of the competition.I wouldn't say the A-10 will improve at the same rate as we do.
