The A 10 finished with 8 top 100 Kenpom teams last year. And 9 of the top 102.
And get trolledLoyola gave up 52 2nd half points and lost to the Don's by 10 at neutral site.
On the CBS basketball show, Nolander said he thinks the A10 can get 3 teams in the NCAAs this year. I think the OOC results give the A10 a much better shot at 2 again this year, but I will be surprised if the A10 manages to get 3.Barring a complete collapse the Flyers are already locked into the field.
All but Dayton will need to win the A10 tournament. On the CBS basketball show, Nolander said he thinks the A10 can get 3 teams in the NCAAs this year. I think the OOC results give the A10 a much better shot at 2 again this year, but I will be surprised if the A10 manages to get 3.
True - I do think at the end of the day, it is a committee of humans making the selections. And if your a team like VCU - who has had a history of making the tourney, sometimes winning games - its hard to ignore that fact when you might come up against 2 resumes that are very similar. Its not everything - but it certainly doesn't hurt to have that on your side.Woj will get Bonnies in. Dayton in. VCU will get in one way or the other, it's what they do. They have the brand now.
we do need help!rankings seem right.
can anyone help me with the guy on line 2 and the "pants" guy?
That doesn't make sense to me at all. Please explain your reasoning. All but Dayton will need to win the A10 tournament.
Other than Dayton who from the A1O will make the NCAA's if they don't win the A10 tournament? That doesn't make sense to me at all. Please explain your reasoning.
Dayton as single seed, Woj strong arms committee for Bonnie’s first four, and you guys win in DC…Other than Dayton who from the A1O will make the NCAA's if they don't win the A10 tournament?
Who you got?
3 teams have 1 loss. Bonnies RI and Loyola. Are you saying that if they finish OOC play with just 1 loss and then go 14-4 in league play, going 27-5, they wouldnt have a chance to get a bid? If thats the case, why even play the damn games? I think you are way off here. A10 will be viewed as having a strong year by virtue of a number of teams having strong OOC records.Other than Dayton who from the A1O will make the NCAA's if they don't win the A10 tournament?

Apparently some have forgotten the schedule discussion at the beginning of the year.A10 will be viewed as having a strong year by virtue of a number of teams having strong OOC records.
Spiderman did some digging and compiled this list early onThe A-10 is making itself a one bid league with these schedules. We need some leadership from the A-10 office.
Later there was a graphic post from X that now isn’t showing in the thread, but it was a final review once all the schedules were complete and suffice to say there wasn’t any improvement. Dayton is the only team with a quality OOC and they have won. Dayton can get in the tournament as an at large. The rest need an A10 tournament victory.schedules aren't all complete, but I took what was available so far on D1docket ... excluding non-D1 games and excluding 2nd and 3rd games in MTEs if they're unknown. think they use Torvik rankings but they change from day to day for some reason. averaged the A10 ooc opponent's ranking.
1) Dayton 150
2) Duquesne 151
3) SLU 165
4) UMass 180
5) SJU 183
6) GMU 183
7) VCU 186
8) LaSalle 191
9) URI 195
10) UR 198
11) LUC 208
12) Fordham 210
13) Davidson 230
14) SBU 233
15) GW 270
surprisingly we're not far from the average A10 schedule.
2-2 in Q1 games (beat UCONN and Marquette, lost close games to UNC and Iowa State).Dayton currently has two Q1 wins.
If Brian Gregory was hired here, he would still be our coach. PQ and his NIL buddies would love him just like they love Mooney.2-2 in Q1 games (beat UCONN and Marquette, lost close games to UNC and Iowa State).
and they play #19 Cincinnati tonight.
must be fun to be a Flyers fan.
As I have said numerous times, the A-10 needs to go to a 20 game IC schedule.Apparently some have forgotten the schedule discussion at the beginning of the year.

7 Teams 130+ NET. Q1 0-6 Q2 0-7Dayton currently has two Q1 wins.
The rest of the A10 combined has one.
Using NET not including future games I think, here is a sample…Apparently some have forgotten the schedule discussion at the beginning of the year.
