Archie Miller

I don't see him landing another P5 right now. He would need to go back down to mid-major level - like an Anthony Grant - to rebuild back up some good wins.

I would not have a problem with him at UR, but we have a coach, AD is behind him - so this is a moot point. But I see someone snatching him up quickly at the mid-major level or at least making him an offer.

Lil' Pitino is also out apparently.

Edit: He may not be out of a job for long...

Earl Grant to BC. Wanted him here a few years ago. Maybe Mooney will be enticed by the nice weather and coastal scenery of Charleston??

No he did not. It's actually disgusting when you see how our AD has some of the very lowest standards for winning among the top 8-9 conferences. Mooney for Life!! That is the sentence SpiderNation has been burdened with.

It’s sometimes “greener” at least for 4 years.

“...Paulsen was a big winner at Bucknell before moving to GMU, where he largely depended on player development and avoided bringing in transfers, as several other A-10 schools do annually...”

I love the $25k bonus for being in the T125 of RPI after the Conference Tourney.

Maybe we're onto something with those Ken Pom banners...

Here is another one. It may have been posted already, but article said 28 minutes ago, so I put it up.

According to Jeff Goodman of Stadium, DePaul parted ways with head coach Dave Leitao after six straight years without an NCAA Tournament appearance. Leitao became the third head coach to be fired on Monday.

I am not in a camp that cares one way or the other about Mooney, but I know some here are keeping score of the firings.

Pat Kelsey headed to Charleston. Significantly smaller step than he had lined up at UMass a few years ago before backing out half an hour before the press conference. But at least he's got a better location.

Is his family somewhere in Wisconsin? I think that was part of why he was looking there a while ago...

Wojo was supposedly making around $2M, while Shaka was making $3.5M at Texas. Of course, Shaka was on the hot seat, but he had two years left on his contract, so he could have taken the buyout and waited for another opportunity. But he had a decent opportunity, so he's gonna take it.

Interesting enough there has not been a John Beilein sighting yet on the hiring circuit. Many think he was in line for the Indiana job, but if that was the case - he would have been hired already.

I thought I saw him in line the other day at The Refectory waiting to get a bite to eat before he did a tour of Millhiser Gym. ;)
