Andrew Gordon - 2016 recruit

So I was looking at verbalcommits and I see we are still listed with Andrew Gordon, 6-10 PF/C. He has a bunch of P5 offers and a couple A10 offers. I only see he's made one visit to Arkansas. I'm a bit puzzled what's going on with this guy, it looks like Arkansas has 7 guys on scholarship, and 6 verbal/LOI commits already for the 2016 class, so I'm wondering if there's even a spot for him there.

I'm guessing we're not really involved with him, but seems like he would be a decent get if he's not already in the fold somewhere.

Yeah, I've tried to follow him a bit and haven't seen a whole lot. This is only his second year of playing basketball. He was a football player but couldn't qualify and planned to go the JUCO route until he decided he wanted to play hoops instead. So he reclassified to 2016 and went the prep route. Doesn't seem like the type of guy we typically go after, so I'm not sure what's up.

Here's our earlier thread on him. We offered nearly a year ago and I've heard nothing since, so my guess is we backed off for whatever reason. Certainly fits the bill in terms of our needs though.
