UVA is the first ACC team to lose in the NCAA tournament. I never thought UVA was that good. If UVA couldn't win it all with Ralph Sampson, how are they going to win with Anthony Gill?

Now the UVAers can focus their attention on whether UVA football will do better and save Mike London's job beyond 2015.
You know how I feel about this topic!

Michigan State is a tournament ready team. As long as they are in the tournament they will go far.

Anderson's injury really hurt their season. He was the difference maker on O. UVA simply couldn't hit shots today (probably should have done even more driving since refs were calling stuff before it even happened). They also missed enough FTs to win or at least have a chance down the stretch. Think all but Atkins will be back, so they'll be in the mix next year for sure.

back to back 30 win seasons and regular season acc champs so are expectations for them to at least get to the sweet sixteen? will the fans want to get rid of bennett since he is not meeting their expectations? kind of tongue in cheek but some say it is about expectations.

UVA's style of play doesn't doesn't translate to the NCAA tourney. Pitt learned the same lesson after many years of Top 10 regular season with a team that turned basketball court into a wrestling ring.

michigan state plays the same style and has eliminated uva two years in a row. defense and a half court offense is tournament basketball and nba playoff basketball. uva just does not have the same throughbred players that the top teams have.
