No Kennedy was ever disowned for his personal behavior. If anything, Sen. Ted Kennedy should have been ostracized for murdering Mary Jo Kopechne. In contrast, RFK, Jr was rejected because he thought the Democrat party could do better than Joe Biden.
At least 25 Democrats in the House of Representatives have signed at least one or more letters demanding he step down from the campaign.

The left is out to destroy all that get in their way in their quest for power. This is a soft coup, going on before our eyes, directed at a sitting United States President. It is no different than the soft coup directed at Donald Trump for 4 years. The anti-Biden coup has been engineered by the donors and the left, because they finally realize that Joe Biden has dementia and that he may very well lose to Donald Trump. Obviously Gally has nothing to do with his time. He apparently searches day and night for an opinion piece that suits his narrative and then posts it as if its factual. Biden is in his head 24/7 and Gally will post anything derogatory to Biden while mostly ignoring the other candidate who tried to overthrow the 2020 election.
That's the amazing part of this whole thing. People are beside themselves because Biden seems a little out of it for one night on TV (and for the record, I would prefer any number of candidates to Biden), and meanwhile Trump tells certifiable lies during each and every answer he gives and no one is concerned about it. He has done something I thought would have been impossible, which is to lie so often and in so many ways while also spewing hatred and insanity so many times that none of it even registers anymore. Why people hold him to such a lenient standard but jump all over anyone else for far less is truly maddening and scary.
Herein lies the problem. Biden isn't even in his own head 24/7. To insist on running him is a prescription for all but certain defeat.

If (when) Biden drops out, it will eliminate his age as a talking point. Then the GOP will have to argue the issues, which they can't win, which the popular vote has proven in every election except one since 1992. Without the electoral college, the GOP has no chance.
Harris-Whitmer would be an outstanding ticket, would cement Michigan and probably Wisconsin and the Black female vote, which was 95-5 for Biden in the last election. It would further expose the GOP base's hatred of Blacks, minorities and women.
