We will see how good Hampton is- they get Villanova this weekend at home. Hampton has a good coach. Hampton may win this one.

Spiders move up three spots to #13 in STATS. In addition to Central Arkansas and North Dakota, we also slipped past Tarleton, who fell all the way from #7 to #14 after losing to EKU.

We'll certainly pass URI even though Delaware is a solid team...but we beat Delaware and are now in sole possession of first in the CAA.

Only other team ahead of us that lost was #6 SEMO, which fell to a pedestrian Lindenwood squad, but I don't know that they'll fall far enough in the polls for us to pass them. They've had a weak schedule and their biggest bounce was an early win over a highly ranked Southern Illinois team that then lost 6 in a row before finally beating Youngstown today for their first MVFC win, so maybe they see a big drop like Tarleton after losing last week?

Tarleton was only 3 points behind us in the STATS poll this week, and they had a fairly easy win today, but it was over West Georgia that's in its first year moving up from D-II, so I don't that that moves the needle for them even given our close shave.

#4 UC Davis vs #7Montana is tied at 7 in 2nd Quarter. It will surprise me if the loser drops all the way to Spiders barring a blowout.

Always a good read as the season progresses:

I love it. Waste Management has to win out and beat the Spiders to have a glimmer of hope for the playoffs. We have a 58% chance of beating the Indians.

Trending towards in
Richmond 8-2 (6-0) [1.34/0.66] - @Hampton (75%), W&M (58%)

Must win out
William & Mary 6-4 (3-3) [1.29/0.71] - Bryant (88%), @Richmond (42%)
