think I hit every Malcom Dread article this morning. the only 5 ppg mention I see is 2018-19. no idea why Maxpreps doesn't have any Gonzaga stats from last year.

heck of a team if he wasn't playing much. eyeball test says he's very good. not sure I've seen more charges taken in a highlight reel, though he got credit for a charge at 2:15 in the worst charge call in history.

I don't think anything I said there was overly effusive. everyone passes an eyeball test off a highlight reel.

no idea if Harper will be more like Dread or Linsday or someone else. but I'm not writing him off because he didn't start over two 4-star guards on the #23 team in the country as a junior. rankings have him around 200. that's strong. they've seen him in HS and AAU, where he also made the all-defense team.

if the 9 ppg worries you, maybe you'll be happy to see he averaged over 15 ppg on the Under Armour circuit.
