I'll consider attending in person if Joe's Inn adds to the menu - right there with Spaghetti a la Joe and a la Greek:

Mooney's Noodles - "We've been using the same recipe for 13 years, even though we haven't been able to get the right ingredients for the past 6."

Those noodles are the problem. The recipe hasn't changed. They just need to age a little. Be patient with the chef. (Sarcasm)

The store carries a lot of better noodles, but the chef can't ever seem to get there in time to buy any of them, so he has to settle for what's left.

You know maybe someone needs to sneak a call into Bob Blacks afternoon show right before Broad Street Greg’s show and see what’s up with this Ivan thing and why no one else calls. Its probably the closest you’re going to get to an answer.

Closed on the house in Westham today and was able to attend the event with Coach and others; I enjoyed it immensely. For those of you who have never been, go once; I bet you enjoy it. For one, the fellow Spiders were really nice people and one is able to chat with Coach Mooney and others. For those of you living in Richmond area, you should attend and direct your inquiries to the coaches face to face.

Did The Ulla sneak off to the men's room just before the Ivan call?
I've always been curious about these two being in lock step.

I have never seen them in the room together, ever. Let that sink in.

I'd rather watch a monkey fornicate with a football than go to a VCU game.

However, I must confess to liking that unwashed group of students with the musical instruments.

Crazy Ivan had the only call of course and apologized to coach for asking a tough question last week. He was forgiven.

Jacob was the guest and did a very nice job and showed some humor. Mooney and Bob sounded like we had won the A-10 tournament. All in all it was a good show thanks to Jacob.

Will never listen to that embarrassing waste of an hour again, but let me sum up the ONLY caller:

"Congrats Coach on a hard fought victory over a tough JMU team. I thought the team played with a lot of energy. The young guys are really showing improvement. Gilyard had a great game winning shot! The leadership of the Jrs and Srs is really starting to show.
Hope practices go well over break. What can you tell us about the Bison?"

The show was pretty terrible. You’d have thought we were in first place and just beat a top 10 team. I know it’s a rah-rah kind of show, but it was very over the top.

Westham Parkway? Nice part of the West End. A former friend from the Class of 1978 lives there. Walking distance to the Hitching Post and Bernie's!

Anybody hear the end of the show? Mooney declined to answer a pretty bland question from Pete... "what has been the most frustrating part of this season for you?"

Decline that? Really?

Was just coming here to say that. Bob literally fed him an answer and Mooney said "that's the answer."

Mo how do you think he answered the question of "the pros and cons of matchup zone vs man"?
What I could not believe is that he said he played the two 50-50 most games. Man I either don't recognize
which is which or coach never took statistics.

Mooney refusing to answer a fair simple and straight forward question last night on how he feels about the state of the program, comes off as childish, a bit entitled, and thin skinned. Also shows the dissatisfaction is getting to him. The program is going through a tremendous amount of adversity right now and this is a time when really good leaders step up. A great coach would call himself out for this performance and pledge change. Instead, Mooney hides behind carefully crafted media questions, refuses to answer tough questions, or runs off after a 26 second post game presser.

I wonder if he realizes these behaviors are just digging his hole deeper.

"Hey coach, you've got UMass coming up, so I'm wondering: How will you prepare for UMass?"

"That's a great question, Jake!"

Dear god.

You forgot his 2 minute rambling about the NBA one and done rule which was one of the more bizarre things I've ever heard.

It was KenPom 100. Asking about A-10 tourney run to get there. So they focused on the possibility of a run in their answer.

No one questioned how many games it will take to get to 100...

Oh, that gave me a good laugh, I just listened to the radio show and heard the question about the KenPom top 100. That was classic, well done Mr. School teacher, well done! Next week maybe one of students says that his dad is #FMM member and wants to know what Hardt thinks?
