Football links of interest- v.2 Patriot League

I have tried to find the Patriot League football links that may be of interest. I must admit that I may not have found the right ones. I have also tried to add the other FCS links from the original post. Your feedback is appreciated. By the way, I posted the school's message boards in alphabetical order- Bucknell, Colgate, Fordham, Georgetown, Holy Cross, Lafayette, Lehigh, and W&M. It looks like Lafayette does not maintain a forum. I added William & Mary just for trolling fun.

Some sports psychologist thought up this one.

M&W Tennis

Interesting...Barrick will now be director of tennis in charge of both programs, with Jacob and Emily Dunbar as associate head coaches for both programs. Looks like Wesselink will be sticking around as a volunteer assistant coach for the women, while former Randolph Macon player Grant Sarver has been brought on as an assistant for the men.

2025–26 women's hoops schedule

First confirmed matchup I've seen, but I haven't been looking that hard...we're playing at Liberty on 12/13. I assume it's the start of a H&H. We didn't play them last year, but we did a H&H with them the previous two seasons...69–48 season-opening win for the Spiders in 2022 and a 99–73 win in the RC in 2023.

The Lady Flames were 26–7 last season (including two D-III wins) and finished with a NET of 76. They were 16–2 in CUSA play to win the regular-season crown and then also won the CUSA tournament for a trip to the NCAA tournament. They were a 13-seed, but only lost to 4-seed Kentucky 79–78.

What’s your history with Richmond?

This may seem like a dumb post but is something I would really love to know for everybody. Let me start by saying, a Spider is a Spider. Whether you went here, your parent, relative, or child went here. Or if you’re just a fan. I know for some of you, but it would be great to know for more of you.

5 people I would love to know. 23, 4700, GKiller, SF, and Fan1. I’m sure you all have posted before but in the thousands of posts it gets lost.

I’ll start.

Graduate of 2016. Lived in Marsh my freshman year. South my sophomore year and apartments the following two. Loved every second of my time and married a beautiful Spider bride. I’m an Econ major, wife is an accounting major.

T&F

Molly Wise qualified to compete at Nationals in Oregon. Go Spiders!

Patriot League Actions & Updates

The Patriot League had its Spring Meeting on June 10th. One source said

"The Spring Meeting was on the 10th.It is an all day session dealing with all PL sports not just football.

That said,no doubt football was the main topic. Future PL schedules...redshirting... grad transfers, opting in or out From what I've gathered the current rosters are grandfathered in. Will PL cap schollies? Rosters?...

PL has not been the most forthcoming with public announcements. Checking the posted By-laws may be the best method."
