LaSalle is 2-9 in A10 and 8-16 overall. Thinking we win by precisely 41 to offset the mens' loss on Saturday,
Do you know if the attendance included the game against George Mason where we didn’t have any public fans due to the water supply issues? Great to see we’re first in that category!Attendance – 1st at 1683 per game
Thanks for sharing. I’m confused how it got a home average of 1,683 when 8,415/10 = 841.5.We've played 10 conference games and the stat is for 10 games, so it would appear that the "water supply" game would be included. Here's what the page looks like:
Attendance
Ah this was the average for only A10 play. It just so happens we have also played a total of 10 home games combining both out of conference and in conference games.10 total A-10 games, but only 5 home.
Did some more digging and according to the box score on our site, we reported attendance as 114 for the Mason game. According to the box scores:
Dayton - 1466
Mason - 114
Bonnies - 877
VCU -3462
URI - 2496
This totals 8415 for conference games and divided by five gives you 1683 - the attendance stat that is on the A-10 site and is tops for conference-only games.
Take out the Mason game and total attendance is 8301 for a four-game average of 2075. That is 441 attendees higher per game than Dayton which is number two at 1634. I'll throw one more thing out which I thought interesting. There are three A-10 teams with average attendance less than our 441 margin - Loyola (422), La Salle (248) and Bonnies (233).
Dedicated fans114 is the most remarkable & interesting stat considering 0 fans were allowed
