We've got one of the best one's in the country?Bigs are tough to recruit. But we need one.
Who is that? Not Doolen, she's 6-2 and shoots a ton of 3s. I don't consider her a big. I'm talking about a big, physical, 6-4 or 6-5 presence in the middle, something we don't have. Maybe it doesn't fit our system, but look at the elite teams, and almost every single one of them has one. We've got one of the best one's in the country?
Let us know how many good and physical 6’5” centers there are out there for us to recruit.Who is that? Not Doolen, she's 6-2 and shoots a ton of 3s. I don't consider her a big. Removing the height requirement, because for anyone that follows the sport, we know that height itself isn't gonna be the main qualifier in the conversation that we think we're having...Let us know how many good and physical 6’5” centers there are out there for us to recruit.
I should have put the sarcasm marker in my reply. I agree with you that we have 2 phenomenal players playing the 4 and 5 spot, who are both top in the country. I was responding to Wood who was saying for us to get a talented, physical, 6’5” big in women’s hoops, which is very hard to find.Removing the height requirement, because for anyone that follows the sport, we know that height itself isn't gonna be the main qualifier in the conversation that we think we're having...
But, just off the top of my head.... Strong, Iriafen, Betts, Kitts, Sedona Prince, Crooks and a couple of the Texas bigs? I don't really want to entertain this too seriously, but just as general background on the answer to the question, obviously..... none.
We got the best one we ever could. She's phenomenal.... an incredible representative for our program..... A-10 player of the year.... and could play for any top program. She's our engine, and i'm so proud of her and thrilled to have her.
No... I know, lol. I was similarly responding.I should have put the sarcasm marker in my reply. So we should just not look?Let us know how many good and physical 6’5” centers there are out there for us to recruit.
No, no for sure.... we should recruit the best available players. I think the point you're missing is that we very much did that. In fact, Maggie was a MASSIVE get for us.So we should just not look?
Wow... that's crazy... but not entirely surprised if that money is out there.... especially with her likely connections and the level of impact she's had.Interesting the Duquesne coach said Meg McConnell turned down 6 figure NIL offers to stay at Duquesne this year. NIL is big money for the ladies now too.
Her bro takes care of things-She doesn’t need any NILLets get real.Wow... that's crazy... but not entirely surprised if that money is out there.... especially with her likely connections and the level of impact she's had.
