Who is the #2 Passing QB?

KL is having a great start. We cannot afford to lose him. Having seen what has happened in past years and even last weekend with key injuries (Collins), who would step in if KL was injured? The obvious choice would be DB, but he has thrown one pass this year and is already mentioned as a possible running back and getting more carries. We all know he has plenty of arm, but is he the man? If not, who could come in and run an effective passing game? No mention by coaches of other QBs on the roster this year and none of them got playing time in the 4Q against NS other than DB running the ball.

I believe Clise would come in and run the offense if Kyle went down. That said, we'd probably see a heavier dose of Broadus too but much of the offense changes when that happens.

Broadus filled in nicely in first half at ISU In playoffs last year while Kyle was having shoulder checked. He showed great poise in leading a touchdown drive with key passes and runs. He converted several key completions to keep drive going.
