I was being slightly sarcastic, but not completely. I am probably the only one in the world who holds this opinion, but I do not think there is a significant difference between Mooney and McKillop in terms of long term program success in the A10. I do not think McKillop is a significantly better coach than Mooney. Time will tell.

You are not the only one who holds this opinion. I have been going to Davidson games for 25 years! Coach McKillop is a great guy and terrific person......and a good coach by most. He dominated the Socon and that was not all that big of deal. That conference has not made any noise the past 25 years in the NCAA other than the Curry years. Davidson also has a bigger than normal home court advantage. Court has very tight sidelines with walls at both ends of the court much like "old cracker box high school gyms". It is a tough place to play. Davidson's success last year in the A 10 was a surprise although they played poorly with a few huge losses after Richmond defeated them by 25, VCU by 20 and Iowa (NCAA) by 31. They have struggled this year on the road.

Davidson players are smart kids with above average basketball sense.....and all can shoot the eyes of the basket! It is simple......play defense against them to win or else it has to be a shoot out. Richmond should win this contest.

+1 to the Staff and AD for making this decision very early!

The Monday night timing will greatly improve attendance, and convert this game from a "neutral site" affair (with no one in attendance) to a truel "home game," which is important. This game is obviously important and having some fans in the stands will likely matter!! I look forward to seeing this one, and would have missed it on Saturday.

Actually, Davidson is catching a huge break from the postponement. They lost in St Louis Wed. night had to fly home, arriving very early Thurs AM.....tired, classes, practice and leave for Richmond on Friday for a Saturday noon game. .....tremendous break to rest now for a Monday night game. On the other hand Spiders will not have played in 10 days and have 3 games to play in the next six days.

I'm ready

I assume the weather impacted the officials getting into town -- don't know if any where flying in to Richmond

Most of the storm missed Richmond (6" officially) but the North East is getting crushed.

What Richmond do you live in. Quite a bit more than that outside my door
Believe me, the brunt of this storm missed us. Winchester has 33" inches of snow. Official reading at RIC is 6" as of 4:30 pm. Storm was more efficient on the west side of the city. :)

hard to tell the depth where we live -- wide open and subject to wind. some areas waist high, other places 4 inches ---

it's a mess
