The product may or may not be undervalued (and may or may not have been for years), but for people still paying their loans back, saving for a house, retirement, or who were economically affected by the pandemic, doubling a discretionary expense may mean that instead of a few games a year (and all the accompanying concessions and Spider apparel) they might make it to one or two games instead. And/or spend less while they are there.
I have several friends with kids who are either too old for the kids club or whose schedules are too erratic to join. Combined with concerns about the pandemic, they are not likely to be in the Robins Center this year even though it has previously been a big part of their family activities. They just don't have the money to spend $40 or $50 to get in the door for 2 hours when two years ago it was only $20 or $25.
It is not like the cost of anything else, particularly entertainment, has doubled in two years.
