We are brutally bad, because CM wants the game in Kendall's hands at end of games. Sometimes, he's the best option, and sometimes he's not. You need to recognize where you are in the game, and tonight, Kendall was clearly, not the best option.
Can't believe Mooney didn't shut KO down and let DT and TD take all the shots at the end of the game. What was he thinking letting the all A-10 senior shoot instead of the guys shooting dingle digit % from 3 point range?? I am sure they were due!
Anyone have some excuses for this one? This season is like Groundhog Day. Just embarrassing to keep losing every freaking road game like this. Man up, Mooney.
Sorry, but I disagree with most of you. We had a great chance to win this game, and CM chose to give the game to Kendall. Kendall is great, but we have a lot of talented players, not named Kendall. In my opinion, that's why we lost yet another close game.
Moliva,
Your post leaves me confused. Before you lectured us on how we need to be positive after last game, and now you make a negative post game post. Please tell me how I'm supposed to respond now.
And that's the problem with giving it to Kendall at the end of the game every single time. I certainly think Kendall is more than capable, but the problem is ALL OF OUR OPONENTS KNOW HE IS GOING TO TAKE THE LAST SHOT AND ARE PREPARED FOR IT, MOONEY WAKE UP!! Both SDJ and JJ both had hot hands, and TJ is more than reliable. Why not actually do something once that everybody (including the morons in the stands) is not expecting?
