Wake Forest beats Rutgers

Looking at Wake's schedule...good lord! It is absolutely brutal. They've got LSU/X/Louiville/Arkansas still left. And that's after playing Indiana/UCLA/us/Vandy. How is their RPI in the 100s having beaten a few of those teams with no bad losses?

LSU is garbage this year (even with Ben Simmons) and Arkansas should be an easy home win. X is very good though. Louisville is a conference opponent for Wake and there are much better teams in the ACC.

I forgot that Louisville is in their conference. Still, they're going to end up with a ridiculously high RPI I think.

RPI Forecast projects they'll go 3-2 in the remainder of the OOC schedule (probably beating UNCG and Coastal and then one out of LSU, X, and Arkansas) and then go 6-12 in ACC play. Unfortunately that projects out to an RPI of around 116, which doesn't really help our résumé. If they can manage an extra couple of wins in there, they'd be more like 75.

I have said it before and will stand by it - I think Wake is garbage. I think they finish below 6 wins in the ACC and finish it bottom 4. I think the RPI of around 115 is about right for them. They caught fire and have some nice OOC wins, but I think in the conference - teams will not let that happen.
