The UR website list office hours for the the ticket office as 9:00 to 5:00 MTF. Okay no problem so I drove over today around 11:00, everything was locked down. I called the UR Ticket office from the RC amd got a recording for a call back, as of 8:45 no call back. I have six season tickets, a couple in the red and rest in the blue but only need two for next weekend. The website to purchase tickets does not permit the purchase of fewer tickets. The deadline for season ticket holder to retain seat for playoffs expires Monday, so when will the ticket office wake up?

Just buy all six and make them available to thosing using this board, sure there will be a few takers. If w&m wins you could probably make money.

Okay, I will buy all six, section 204, row F, seats 15-18.
Who needs a ticket at $37.00 each?

So they're closed until Monday, and Monday is the deadline. Who's the moron running this show? That is total lunacy

Online sales are still going and it's not like it's going to be sold out by Monday.

Should we have kept a couple people home from their families for the holiday to serve this purpose?

This was emailed out on Sunday shortly after brackets were revealed.

32 Thanks for the info, I missed the email. The UR website was silent on the change.

Stonewall, let me know if you want my extras.

richmondspiders.com was not silent. All the information was posted Sunday under Game Time, Ticket Prices Announced For FCS Playoff Game. Whether anyone likes the hours or not the information was available and to me very clear.

Alright, I did my purchase online, easy enough. Now, I'm not poor, and I hate to sound like a cheapscape, but I hate being nickel and dimed to death. Two bucks for processing, three bucks to pick them up at the will call window, and a buck to print them on my own printer, geez. It's so petty for a school with all our money.

I know I'm sounding like an angry old man, but come on.....

The whole University was closed Wednesday, and will be on Friday, too.

UR sent additional allotment to W&M on Wednesday. Seats seemed to disappear quickly yesterday. This deserves a sellout.

Much prefer we had 9k Spider fans in attendance but suspect the team enjoyed playing to a packed house at JMU...The typical 6k or so UR fans will show, so what if a couple thousand WM fans show up---it makes for a better playing experience.

Not sure if the site had issues or the office turned it off last night. Either way there are plenty of great seats still available.

Ticket office did a miserable job. Began to call on Tuesday to secure my usual tickets and got answering machine. Tried repeatedly thereafter and never spoke to a person until Monday of game week at 3 pm when I purchased. Same day @ 4 finally got a call back from original series of calls. Very sad and lacking in care for fans.

I had a great customer service experience when I called for my tickets. Phone was answered right away and the process took about 45 seconds.

Only minor gripe is that I would have bought my tickets online but only needed 2 of my 3 season tickets - the online option for season ticket holders only let you buy all of your tickets.

Does anyone know if UR will be allocated tickets in a specific section for the game on Friday? It looks like tickets are on sale on the ISU site but would like to purchase in the UR section.

More often than not, when I call the ticket office, I goes right to voicemail. However, I do commend them in that I usually get a call back within a few hours of leaving the voicemail and they always are able to take care of whatever I am seeking.

Perfect storm. All 7,000 tickets purchased for Saturday's game were purchased either online,in person or via phone in a short period.Turkey week got in the way.All season ticket holders seeking to obtain their allocated seats were required to start from scratch to maintain their seats. You had to call to make that happen. Many of our RED SWEATER crowd don't use computers. They were gonna call no matter what and most likely repeatedly.
There were likely a ton of Will Calls for tickets to be picked up.Tribe customers wanted to make sure that sat on their teams side.Lots of calling by them too and Will Call.

People were also purchasing BBall tickets for UNI-3,000 additional tickets were sold over the 3.000 season ticket holders, many of which were Will Call.

People will gripe about anything especially the not-so big hitters.....even if we went 2-0 for the big doubleheader.
