UR basketball marketing department

One area of the basketball program that is often overlooked is the marketing department. Not sure who runs it, but I think they are doing a terrific job. Not only is the environment at the Robin Center surrounding the games very positive, but the statistics and game notes are well done. In the write-up for today's game they have the box score from the last time we played. Terry Allen scored 17 points on 6 for 11 shooting with 9 rebounds. Deion Taylor and Trey Davis combined in 48 minutes for 0 points on 0 for 3 shooting.

Traditionally two totally different departments. Marketing side is definitely more responsible for the game day atmosphere. The PR/SID department usually does all the other stuff that you are impressed by - game stories, notes, stats, previews all done by athletic communications/public relations

On a somewhat tangential note, is there a new Spider sports app that I may be missing? Deleted the old one as it kept erroring/closing and I don’t see a new one on the App Store.
