I am really enjoying watching UNI school Shaka's team right now, although it is still very early. Hard to believe we beat this team this year.
Looks like 4 in 10...How many tournaments for Jacobsen in how many years?
They sure did. Beat UNLV then Kansas. Lost to Mich StateAlso recall one of those trips was a S16, knocking off #1 Kansas in the process.
32, thanks for the reminder. That was definitely the best day for me too. With the various disappointments that followed, it's great to remember that victorious day. OSCThe in-person UNI win was the pinnacle of the season for me.A big playoff football win earlier in the day at the Brickhouse and then getting this W.Not sure anyone else dominated UNI during the season as we did that night.Taylor and Davis had an unusually strong offensive game for us.They scored with precision and combined for 20.A rarity.Amazing to think that now as an 11th seed they play another Texas team(#4 Aggies) for the right to play next weekend in the Sweet16.

Everyone was healthy for us and played with enthusiasm. OSCNorthern Iowa up by 12, under 7 minutes, vs Texas A&M. How did we beat those guys?
Rick, think you are right. OSCWe lost all enthusiasm when Wood missed the snowbird at the end of the VDU game.
They weren't close to beating us. Later lost 4 in a row to fall to 10-11, since then?Northern Iowa up by 12, under 7 minutes, vs Texas A&M. How did we beat those guys?
Epic is right. I have never seen such a combination of stupid plays in a row. Hope they pull it out in OTUNI just had an epic collapse to allow A&M to tie.
You mean number 3?Epic is right. I have never seen such a combination of stupid plays in a row. Hope they pull it out in OT
Wonder if they are questioning the 10 yr contractJust mentioned UNI coach got 10 year contract

I knew we lost that game when SDJ gave up the steal in the middle of the court up 4We lost all enthusiasm when Wood missed the snowbird at the end of the VDU game.
The coaches must take the blame for not having a time out left to use in the last few seconds. Their kids were so flustered they couldn't think. All the Washburn kid had to do at the last inbounds was just heave it down court, the game would have been over regardless who may have gotten the ball. We can certainly relate to epic self destruction.
